Catamaran Provisioning Guide & Checklist

The 70/30 Rule

Plan to eat 70% of meals onboard, and 30% ashore. A standard charter catamaran has a 130L fridge. It will be full immediately.

Common Mistakes

• Buying too much fresh produce: It rots in 3 days in a marine environment.
• Forgetting water: You need 2-3 liters per person per day for drinking. The tank water is for washing only.
